Introduction	I study and work as a Marine Biologist. I work with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Whales Alive and Dolphin Ecology and Acoustics Project (DEAP). I'm heading over to 'the cove' in Taiji, Japan in December this year and that's the main reason I've started a blog. I want people to be aware of the terrible, inhumane acts that are being committed worldide from beef and pigs to dolphins, whales and sharks. We have a lot to answer for as human beings and I believe that collective consciousness needs to be aroused in order for changes to be made and the natural balance of our planet to be restored. Music, art and photography inspire me, as does the natural world. Hopefully I'll be able to travel to as many different countries as I possibly can in my lifetime. I aim to eventually start my own conservation organisation that will educate, inform and inspire people to preserve and protect our natural world. If individuals begin to take action, collectively we can change the world and stand up for those beings that don't have a voice! If we all took the time to appreciate and respect life and other people the world would be a much better place.
