| Introduction | Mrs Pennsylvania International 2012, wife, Mom, Chef Instructor, Advocate for Blessings in a Backpack and Food writer. Born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, the youngest of two girls, married to my high school sweetheart Gary for 14 years. We have two children, Madison, and Gary. I hold a degree in Education and Culinary Arts. I began my road to success after struggling with a difficult pregnancy and a weight gain of 100 lbs! Knowing, I wanted to prove to myself and teach others that you can spring back from setbacks and ultimately live the life of your dreams, I started my quest for Mrs. Pennsylvania International! My passion in life is, “The Power is within yourself!” My inspirational beliefs are that you create anything you set your mind to regardless of your experience, my goal as Mrs. Pennsylvania International is to encourage others how to make a difference, and show people that you care, because we all know; at the end of the day, it truly comes from the heart!
