| Introduction | My name is Michael J. Walsh. In January of 1968, I started my “tour” in Vietnam with the 4th infantry Division, 4th Aviation Battalion, Company A. We were the “Blackjacks”, call sign “Hustler” flew UH-1H “slicks” and had every imaginable mission one could conjure up. I will attempt to describe some of these missions by their “Kilo” designation which appeared on the nightly mission sheet that was distributed by our platoon leaders. |
