| Introduction | I am a 34 year small town mother of three beautiful children with my eldest having Aspergers. I am the wife to the love of my life, Scott, for the past 10 years of my life. Six of those years were the family next door with the exception of me having a terminally ill mother since the age of 13 and a father that was in and out of my life since that time. Almost to the the date of my husbands 30th birthday everything changed. He was diagnosed with what we thought was MS. The next 4 years his health declined more rapidly than any words I can put on this page. My stories will fill in the pieces of the years before life like this and life leading up to hospice...Yes, hospice...Scott, this January almost died. They told us to say goodbye. Well, he is here with us today. This week, I was diagnosed with Lupus and possible Rheumatoid Arthritis. I know it sounds like a whole lot of unanswered prayers. Let me tell you there are so many prayers answered. I thank God everyday for the blessings in my life! I hope you join me as I open up my life and release some of my life these past years, some even going back to my mothers illness...for she is who saved my husband in that hospice home. |
