Introduction	I married Jeffrey, my college sweetheart, on May 29, 2004. On June 7, 2011, we welcomed our first child, Vincent Jude. Jude is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me and Jeffrey. Nine months out of the year (sometimes ten if administration succeeds in suckering me into summer school), I teach English at Holmes Community College. I never thought I would love a job as much as I do, but my colleagues and my students make me happy to go in each day and strive to be my best. When I'm not teaching, I like to go running. I'm very much an amateur at it, but I love the way it makes me feel. My current goal is to run the St. Jude half marathon in December. However, after having a baby and being out of the exercise circuit for a while, this will be a tough goal to reach--all the more reason to try it! So this is the abridged version of my life--not much to it, but still great all the same!
Interests	Being Jude's mama, traveling, SHOPPING, reading, and running/exercising
Favorite movies	Tarantino movies; Steel Magnolias; 500 Days of Summer; Robin Hood:Men in Tights; To Wong Fu, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar; many others that have beautiful settings, costumes, story lines, symbolism, humor, etc.
Favorite music	80s hair metal, 90s grunge, Bob Dylan, Led Zepplin, Beatles, Elvis Presley,and many many more
Favorite books	Anything by a good Southern writer will do!
