| Introduction | Mr. Tarun Kumar Dash joined Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) in 2009. He holds a Post Graduate degree in Mathematics and has completed his D.Ed and B.Ed for his professional career. He received C V Raman Science Teaching Award 2012 for his outstanding contribution in making science teaching joyful and National award for innovation and experimentation organised by KVS and Educational Technology Management Academy (ETMA), New Delhi in 2014. The short film ‘Sadak’ on road safety written and directed by him won Best Actress award category in National Road Safety Short Film Festival 2022. A project on millet developed and guided by him was displayed before Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sh. Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Education Minister Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022. He started a campaign ‘Light Bag Happy Back’ in the Vidyalaya to reduce the weight of the school bag. He has been selected as a National level Mentor by NCTE, New Delhi, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India for National Mission for Mentoring (NMM). |
