| Introduction | Jennifer is finishing up her D.Ed. in Literacy and Language Studies at BU. She also has a B.A in English from University of Richmond and an M.A. in English Composition from Northeastern. Jennifer has lived in Eastern Massachusetts for over 20 years, in Boston, on Cape Cod, and now on the North Shore. Jennifer is passionate about teaching. She taught writing at Northeastern and UMass Boston and then high school English on Cape Cod. She was the Director of English Language Arts at Masconomet and now is the Director of ELA in the Everett Public Schools. She also teaches teachers at Salem State University. Jennifer is a mom to two boys, a teen and a tween, who surprise her and drive her crazy and love her unconditionally all in the same moment and wife to a man who supports her and allows her to follow her dreams and doesn’t take her too seriously and sometimes reminds her not to do so either. Jennifer is an actress, choral singer and soloist, a Unitarian Universalist, an Up With People alum, an avid gardener, a gourmet cook and foodie, a yogi, a Red Sox fan, a lover of travel, an activist, a feminist, a political junkie, an ardent Democrat, and a voracious reader. |
