| Introduction | So I decided awhile ago that one of my Gifts to the Human Race is to help each of you feel better about yourself by allowing you to pat yourself on the back and say, "Well, at least I didn't do THAT..." After friends and family members started calling their most embarrassing incidents "Christy Moments", it kind of confirmed that I indeed had a knack for public displays of humiliation. Another indication was that whenever I'd play that party game where everyone's supposed to share their Most Embarrassing Moment, most people seemed to respond with things like, "Hmmmm... I can't think of anything...", while I would be thinking, "Categorized by What? Scope of how many people witnessed it? Most recent? Depth of despair caused by said event? Alphabetical by category?" So yeah. I got stories. And I decided to record them, for history's sake. Hence the blog. Hopefully the four family members who read this will appreciate my efforts. |
