| Introduction | I began my career as an encyclopedist in the late twentieth century when I worked for such large organizations as Encyclopedia Britannica, Funk and Wagnalls and Microsoft (as part of their Encarta team). My knowledge of encyclopedias is extensive, my expertise on encyclopedias is widely sought, and my disgust at the suppression of certain information that would otherwise be included in encyclopedias is well-documented within the profession. It was this disgust that led me to leave the encyclopedia industry in early 2006 to begin my crusade for the dissemination of ALL information that might be contained within encyclopedias, not just the information accepted by the status quo. Today I am a renegade encylopedist, publishing here on Blogger those articles deemed unnecessary and/or unacceptable by the Encyclopedia Oversight Committee, the tyrants of the Encylopedia world. As I complete my unauthorized articles, I will post them here for your perusal. Someday I hope to publish my own uncensored Encylopedia of the Vital in book form that contains all the articles deemed inappropriate by said tyrants. Viva la revolución enciclopédica. |
