| Introduction | We bought our first house in 2007. At the time, there was only one dog in our household. One dog soon grew to three, and now it’s down to two. During the summer of 2009 we welcomed six baby chicks into our home, and the urban chicken farm began. Three flocks later, we have a blend of pets, layers, and potential dinners in our backyard. Bees, babies, figs, hops, and berries, and there’s still room to grow. |
