Introduction A native San Antonian, I know what it's like to be gone many years and return to reside in her bosom once again. As I did during childhood, I divide my time between town and my beloved Medina Lake in Bandera County. Life has a way of teaching me many truths for "growing up", living between the two places. There is a joy that comes when reconnecting with your roots. Put down deep enough, you will find them between the lines.
Interests I LOVE being a grandma to 5 beautiful youngens (Olivia-Morgan-Keller-Ethan-Emery), spending time with my girls Amanda and Susannah, hangin out with my husband or merely in his shadow whether it be at Medina lake, or in his Country Western band, Country and Cajun dancing, growing Texas Mountain Laurels and other native plants on a large scale, Boating/Swimming on Medina Lake, I enjoy books about Texas especially historical fiction, I enjoy the challenge of gardening in Texas, Cooking is a comfort-challenge-frustration-pain in patooty-and passion that never leaves my creative side alone- love sharing moments at the stove with a friend or my girls and now with the grandchildren, still making yoyos after all these years, collecting vintage kitchen stuff from estate sales-aprons-aluminum gadgets from 40s 50s-dishes-glassware, enamelware especially orphaned enamel pot lids, antiquing, junkin'[yes there is a difference], taking pictures wherever I am, rock hunting in the Hill Country, deer/dove huunting, writing, good tequila, driving the back roads, or being outdoors to appreciate nature and our Creator Who has blessed me in all ways beyond measure.
Favorite Movies Lonesome Dove, Anne of Green Gables, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, John Adams, The Notebook, Braveheart, Beatrix Potter, Nanny Mcphee
Favorite Music Classic Country & Western dance music, traditional Cajun music, the old Hymns, anything sung by my grandchildren

How do you read between the lines? Where do you find happiness? How do you spend your free time?
