Introduction	I am a self-taught jewelry artist, a wife a mother of two lovely daughters, and an associate professor of chemistry. I have been making jewelry for nearly twenty years, and while my styles have changed dramatically in that time, one thing has remained constant. I have a deep appreciation for how the elements combine in nature to produce beautiful gemstones and minerals. Bringing together the stones I love with ceramic, glass and metal, and exploring color combinations and texture fulfills my creative side. Sharing my work with others makes the work complete.
