| Introduction | I arrived in Romania on March 1st 2010 to complete a two month journalism placement through an amazing volunteer organization 'Projects Abroad'. I live in the historic city center of Brasov, located in the northern Transylvania region of Romania. The city sits at the foot hills of the majestic Carpathian mountains, amidst snow-capped ranges, and enchanting, mysterious verdant pine forests. I quest to experience the bucolic romanticism Romania is famed for by working for a local magazine called "Satul"/"The Village". The magazine celebrates and holds vast to the warm heart of Romania, it's balkan culture and age old traditions. |
