| Introduction | I am a retired computer consultant. I spend my days exercising mind and body in order to make what I hope to be a lengthy slide toward death as pleasant & comfortable as may be experienced. I have many varied interests that I pursue with vigor and enthusiasm. Exceptions are sports spectatorship and most of what passes for popular culture. My reading is mostly non-fiction, running toward philosophy, politics, religion, and a wide range of soft & hard science. I have one grown daughter. I was widowed six months after moving to Dunwoody, GA, and have been living here since 1999. I was fortunate enough to find a second woman crazy enough to put up with me and we've been married for several years. I enjoy exchanging views, challenging the views of others, not so much to change their view, but to give them pause to rethink in order that they may be better able to defend and describe them. |
