Introduction I've been an archer, fletcher and bowhunter as long as I can remember, shoot mild r/d longbows now, along with vintage straight grip static recurves that I rehab and build matched arrows for. I'm shopping for the right ASL now. I had a copy of "Hitting 'em like Howard Hill" that I reread many times. It greatly influenced my shooting style. I loaned it out many years ago and it never found its way back to me, so I guess at age 70 now I'm on a quest to reconnect with my shooting roots. My shooting style is very similar to what Nate describes here and John Schultz shares in his book and video. With it I've been blessed to take many deer and small game animals through the years. I enjoy sharing my love for archery and always keep several bows in lower weights, usually vintage Bear dual shelf Cubs and Grizzlys, along with matched wooden arrows I build for them, to teach visitors how to shoot.
