| Introduction | After graduating from Columbia University, formed an Indie Film company and worked in 35/16mm and produced "FACING THE CHALLENGE" on India's Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, after completing a contract with the National Film Board of Canada on "SHAKTI: She is Vital Energy" focusing rural women of India's voices at the different UN International Womens Year Conferences (1985/1990/1995 etc. By 2001, produced first digital/HD film for TV : "MISTAKEN IDENTITY: Sikhs in America" profiling the 9/11 Story on racial discrimination, physical assault and killings of Sikhs, simply because they wore turbans and beards mistaken for terrorists. We won three (3) first prize awards at American Film Festivals six months after completing the documentary. Presently working on "NON-VIOLENCE FOR HUMAN SURVIVAL" focusing on Jain Enlightenment - A Way of Life. Completed 200 hours of video and editing the first 10 min. DEMO. Since 2001, I have become very concerned about what is happening around the world. I communciate through producing films on relevant subjects. |
