Introduction While in my chosen career of insurance I joined in many civic endeavors to advance my business. While advocating the building of a new ferry system I was interviewed on the radio, and was approached by the radio station manager who told me I should be on the air. I created a radio talk show lasting eight years. I interviewed a NYS governor, local political leaders, scientists, doctors working on cancer and other disease research, inventors, educators, CEOs of major companies, etc. Having a particular interest in energy efficient buildings and innovative electrical generation, I built in 1983 an energy efficient home that was far ahead of the standards of the day. After retirement, I assumed the chairmanship of an organization that advocates for major infrastructures improvements, such as, rail freight facilities, new low pollution power plants, ferry systems and created a forum for industry advocates’ presentations. Meetings’ summaries are emailed to thousands of subscribers.
