Introduction	Born in Santo Domingo, DR, Sole Rebel has been on tour since she was in the womb, and was handed a paint brush when she stepped out. Daughter of folklore Painter Amancio Gonzalez and writer Dr. Luz Quiero, she grew up in the Bronx, Harlem and reps Washington Heights. Sole Rebel is a hybrid of many elements. She graduated from La Guardia HS of Arts and Performing Arts in 2002. Her sound is not limited to any genre, and she can jump on any free-style or improv cypher. She has toured with groups such as Audiopharmacy and One Struggle, Dread Lion Sound, and has performed with musicians like Luv Fyah, Aima the Dreamer, Mano Negra, among others. Sole Rebel is a member of The PeanutButter Crew, hidden away with Bay Area free-style legends: Safahri(Rah Hendrix), Orukusaki, and funk singer Lady Chi. Her influences include, but are not limited to Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin and the Beatles.
