| Introduction | I am a wife and mother of two teenagers who also teaches preschool. After living many years in the big city, we moved a few years ago to a semi-rural area where we've slowly been changing our 1982 ranch house into a farmhouse-style "cottage" (I use the term very loosely!). | Interests | I love God and am blessed to be able to grow most of our own vegetables, fruit, and flowers on about an acre. I like to be a good steward of our world and have found that it usually coincides with frugality (using vinegar to clean costs a lot less than an arsenal of cleaners!). I've discovered that you can make many household items (anything from cleaners to ketchup!) easily and cheaply. In very little time, it's become second nature to make something rather than making another trip to the store. |
