| Introduction | Carolina Otero & The Someone Elses got together in the Summer of 2009. The group comprises of song writer, lyricist and rhythm guitarist Carolina Otero and other musicians that accompany her. So far, The Someone Elses have been: Dani Gurrea (guitar), José Montoro (drums) and Nick Simpson (bass). José was member of the highly acclaimed Valencian band Tent. Nick was a member of the British band ABMO and whilst living in Finland formed The Moneylenders. Carolina is also the lead singer of Lülla. Although a relatively young project, the band have been successful in various competitions (Contraindicanciones in the Contraclub in Madrid Nov 2009, winners of Factory Music, Alcoy 2010 and runners-up in Troglogló in La Caverna, Valencia). They released their first album in 2011: GIVE ME YOUR SHOES (Antártida Records, Mexico). Second album coming soon! |
