| Introduction | I am a wife, a mother, a voracious reader of all genres, a breast cancer survivor, engineering assistant, and an Auntie. I love musicals and plays and parties where I know everyone. I love me a pedicure and some acrylic nails, often painted black. Spring and summer are best, fall is bittersweet and winter is a trial to be gotten through. I share a wardrobe of flip flops with my daughter Blondie. I am addicted to Army Wives, Nip/Tuck and Sons of Anarchy – Fringe is my sci-fi favorite. Playing scrabble and palisades with my family is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening. I am a frustrated cook with a postage stamp kitchen and a longing for a bit of a kitchen garden, in honor of my grandparents, Leta and Ray. My handsome husband has always had the nickname Pirate and I adore him and his piratey ways! Our children are young adults, two daughters: Blondie 25, Brownie 22, and one son: Curly 20. Brownie is married to Airman 21. Spider is my ex-husband - we all have a great relationship. |
