| Introduction | Crumbled at an early age. Swore off toxins. Have spent the last 37 years learning restorative practices; nonviolence, holistic healing, yoga, massage, veganism/ nutrition, "restorative circles" and "nonviolent communication." I am currently recovering after being struck by a truck while riding my bicycle. I am doing well, and enjoying post traumatic gifts. Of all forms of progressive activism, my passion is the human rights for people "treated" by our mental health system. I have been called minister to this movement of mental health consumers, survivors, x patients and allies seeking to transform the way our society treats distressed people and those labeled as mentally ill. I believe that most of the suffering in the world is caused by "estrangement" disconnection and antagonistic relationship with self, God, creation. |
