| Introduction | I am a practicing psychiatrist with a special interest in Mood disorders. My practice is currently as Medical director of the Palomar Intensive Outpatient program in San Marcos,California and my private practice is in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. I am also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Diego. My expertise is integrating talking therapy, medication when necessary and alternative treatments that have demonstrated scientific support for the management of Mood disorders (Bipolar disorder, Depression and Anxiety). Many patients have been traumatized by their mental health problems which I believe is best seen as a form of Post Traumatic Stress disorder. |
