| Introduction | Ali here: I studied French through college, including 6 months abroad in France in 2003, but more significantly, my family hails from France and this is an important piece of my identity. I've always dreamed of going back for longer than a vacation, and voilà!, I stumbled on the TAPIF program and landed a position as an English language assistant in southwest France. Brian is my partner in crime slash boyfriend - new to all things French and France!
