| Introduction | SWM seeking... Ooops, wrong details eh? I was born in 1963, Class of '82, 6 years in the Navy as a Data Systems Tech, Single parent, Drive a hybrid, and so on and so forth. In my spare time I run an 80s radio station over the internet at Star1079.com. The radio station plays music from the 80s (Friday nights we throw in some late 70's party music, and every nite between midnight and 5am I sprinkle some songs from today into the mix). Yes, STAR 107.9 was an actual radio station that played 80's music, in fact they were "America's First 80's Radio Station" and the STAR1079.com web site is a tribute to those who made it possible. When they switched to an oldies format, I promoted my self from just the average listener to Program Director and brought Star 107.9 back... well, back to the Internet. Sorry, I couldn't get the radio transmitter as Oldies 108 was now using it. |
