| Introduction | My name is Jarrad Saffren and I am an avid baseball fan and aspiring sportswriter residing in the Philadelphia area. Throughout high school, I've worked as the Sports Editor and Weekly Columnist for my school newspaper, “The Hawkeye.” My work has been featured in (among others) both the online and print editions of the Bucks County Courier Times and the Philadelphia Inquirer. In addition to my journalistic ventures, I am currently interning at 610 WIP Sportsradio, the number one sports talk radio station in the Philadelphia area. Starting next fall, I will be attending Syracuse University and majoring in the field of Broadcast Journalism. My ability to interpret popular culture through my own discerning perspective allows me to establish a unique voice through any such medium of communication. Both on paper and in conversation, I never shy away from the glaring spotlight that often accompanies a public proclamation. With my childhood passion as the necessary backdrop, I've decided to expand my horizons to the futuristic forum of internet blogging.
