Introduction	I think I'm at a turning point, and I hope it's not an ankle. Not so long ago, while leaving a studio in Hollywood, I was caught on Selma Avenue trying to get to my "safe" underground parking, wearing my patent leather high heeled boots, which made running impossible. So, when I heard a scuffle break out in front of The Piano Bar and the words, "Oh, you have a gun on you? " I kept thinking to myself, please don't kill me before my screenplay gets picked up, I lose 30 pounds and my roots have been retouched. Once again, slut shoes could have been my undoing. And these..well, these were sensible slut boots - patent leather with a chunky high heel. Mmm, mmm, mmm.
