About me

Introduction	My name is Miriam Daoud and I am from a little city of about twelve thousand called Poquoson, Virginia. Most people do not know where it is, so I usually tell them the Newport News or Hampton area hoping that gives them an idea. If that does not work, I mention Virginia Beach, which is about thirty minutes away, and it usually gives them a better idea. I live with my mom and have a younger brother, who is fifteen. During high school, cheerleading ran my life. I cheered from eighth-grade to senior year, and we were forth in the state my junior year. Now, in college I’m involved in something a little different, the Army ROTC program. I never thought it was something I would be doing, but it has surprised me and I truly enjoy the program and the people. Along with the commitment of the ROTC program, I have the pressure to get the best grades possible to try and get into the nursing program here at James Madison University. Other than school work, I really just like to have a good time with my friends.
