| Introduction | I am a graduate in Computer Science and I have a PGCE, an MA in Education and a Diploma in Management Studies. In 2006, I was given the opportunity to take voluntary redundancy from the organisation where I had been working for the previous 10 years. I grabbed the opportunity and used it as way of building a new life. I did my CELTA and the following year, I fulfilled my lifelong dream and moved to Spain. I settled on Valencia because it was perfect in terms of size, location, climate, history and cuisine. During my first year in Valencia, I started working in a private language school and have worked there ever since. For 10 years, I worked as Head of Studies, responsible for recruitment, monitoring and training of teachers, as well as curriculum planning. In 2019, I decided to take a step back and "just teach". This has given me more time to develop my interest in educational technology, evaluation and classroom management. |
