| Introduction | In January of 2007 I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I found it amazing that there was a name for the way my brain seemed to work and that the chemical imbalance I was experiencing was indeed real. Most of my life has been unmedicated, but after the suicide of my mom I decided that it was time to manage my illness with a bit more maturity. It doesn't always work. |
