I have covered travel and culture for The Nation, Travel Holiday, the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle and have also worked at Vanity Fair, Vogue, Mirabella, Glamour and People. My passions include discovering new places and literature, especially poetry. Two of my favorite countries are Spain and Mexico. I'm a flamenco aficionada and the mother of a beautiful teenage daughter.
