| Introduction | In January 2005 I asked my boyfriend's grandmother to teach me how to knit. Ever since my passion for the art has surged. Knitting is a great outlet for me. It helps relieve stress, which is rather ironic considering how frustrating some projects can be or how hard it can be to find the money to cover my yarn obsession. Even better - knitting provides a way to be creative. I always said that I had no creative skills. Eventually I found some in writing and singing, but neither compare to the way my creativity has blossomed with knitting. As a matter of fact, nothing feels more right to me than knitting, like it was what God meant me to be doing all along. |
