| Introduction | I like to call myself a "recovering attorney" because I did, in fact, have to leave my legal career in order to learn how to live with bipolar disorder. But BD is the topic of another writing. I live in Lexington, KY with my husband, younger daughter, my dog, Marshmallow, and the family cat, Millie. My older daughter and my son attend college - each a long day's drive from home. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in summer 2008 - 3 years after having been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Who knew turning 50 could be oh so much fun? |
