| Introduction | I thankfully gave up my day job as an Anatomy and Physiology Instructor to be at home with my 2 year old "baby" boy and my 6 month old baby girl. I totally love it (though sometimes when my boy has once again taken off all his clothes and is streaking through the living room and my baby girl has totally smeared the baby food all over her and the nearest wall I would LOVE a break!) I'm sort of a self taught sewer although my mom did a little but I really love beautiful fabrics and being creative in what I can do with them. I crochet and knit but I'm still learning alot and reading some how to books which I'm not sure if its helping or confusing me...On the side of those things for the past several years I have and do paint murals for childrens rooms and I'm really happy about that. There's something about childhood that is so magical and to be able to capture just a glimpse of how they see the world on a wall is really satisfying for me. Plus just seeing their little faces light up when they see it for the first time is worth every hour spent on it!! I'm very happy to continue learning and have my own little shop on Etsy. |
