As we fully enter into the digital age, more and more of our communication and our methods of inter-action will take its form in this way. In my youth, as in many others of my generation, we did not have this luxury, and our ideas and concepts did not move in (such) rapid fashion. I have embraced the technology, as have many of my contemporaries. It allows for the communication of ideas and thoughts to be transmitted instantly via computer,cell phone or ipad or tablet. Isolation exists now behind the digital monitor. Anonymity is shielded by the ISP. This blog page,is my method of touching the world. A way of learning, of putting to use the technology that others have spent so many days and hours of their lives to perfect. As you sit at your keyboard or view your cell phone, try to remember that the world is instantly at your fingertips. |
