| Introduction | This is the official Blog for the "Kates Voice Action Network" (www.katesvoice.net) - a group started by Kate Puzey's family and friends to seek justice on her behalf, and to help ensure that vital policy changes are implemented in order to protect Peace Corps Volunteers who are either whistleblowers or victims of sexual or physical violence. We hope to finally pass legislation this year that will ensure that the proper protections are implemented to prevent future tragedies for Peace Corps Volunteers and their families. We strongly support the Peace Corps and its mission, however it has become clear that critical changes need to be made in order to allow it to fully fulfill its potential and honor the commitment of its brave volunteers. |
