| Introduction | Our Kickin' Chickens! is a fun way to document our chicken keeping adventures with our friends and family. There are seven "chicken mommies" in our little group who have pitched in together on this project. Though only three of us live at the house with the chickens, the other folks have contributed funds and moral support, named a hen, and shared in the delicious eggs once the girls (aka hens) started laying. |

Chickens live in the moment, thrilling at the conquest of a wriggling grub, squawking in triumph at the delivery of an egg, resting contentedly in a dust bath.
