Introduction | I'm an individual first, friend, lover, then author. The woman I am is very much included. I've written and published 19 books and 4 anthologies with Kensington, BET and Harlequin. I had wonderful experiences with all of them, but I've wanted to self-publish for 20 years and now I'm doing just that. My next book, a romantic murder mystery laced with voodoo, comes out by or before March 2010. It's so different and I just love it, even if that does sound a little immodest. I like to consider myself a whole earth lover, but this doesn't mean I like everything. I'm a voracious reader, having begun reading at the age of three. I like the theatre, movies, TV mysteries, even the so-so ones. I listen to music much of the day - country in the morning, classical afternoons and evening. I love plants and the feel of rich black loam in my hands. I've begun to be fascinated with birds, not so much animals. The older I get, the more interesting the world becomes. |

What did you dream when you ate a spider while sleeping?
Of throwing up.
