Introduction	Susan and I are in our fiftieth year of marriage and enjoy each other, our children and grandchildren. We have been involved in church ministries for many years. Gilbert taught college English and Christian education courses. From that he moved into book publishing and marketing. Susan's career took her from teaching to secretary to editor of our church periodical, The M.B. Herald. We hope that our experiences will help provide interesting insights that challenge yet inspire.
Interests	Bird watching, reading, photography, writing, grandparenting
Favorite books	Brian McLaren, "A New Kind of Christian", is one that really influenced our thinking. His recent book "A New Kind of Christianity" has also challenged us. Otherwise, we both enjoy fiction, biography and historical writings.
