| Introduction | Ever see a movie, then later read or view a review of it and wonder if it's the same flick you saw? Me, too. Drives me nuts! After they decide if they like a movie or not, most – not all, but most – "professional film critics" have little else to say. So they tell us how socially redeeming, significant, irrelevant or other nonsense the flick is – or they talk about the actors, the directors/producers or worse, about themselves. Not here. I'm an average guy with average tastes. I enjoy movies and want to be entertained. I don't enjoy being told what flicks I should like or why I shouldn't. This blog is for me, and other average guys. Mostly it deals with guys' movies. If you don't like your films with a heaping dose of action, cars, explosions, gunplay or humor, this blog is not for you. |
