| Introduction | I fear the God of the Bible. I surrendered to the fact that I was an enemy of Him and that while I was an enemy Jesus of Nazareth died for a rebel like me. I believed in 1987 that I could do nothing to save myself from the just punishment for my sins and so accepted Jesus' goodness as mine. I believe I am wrapped up in His goodness and when God Almighty looks at me he sees Christ and is satisfied. I am not what I ought to be. I am not what I want to be. I am not what one day I will be; but I am not what I was, and by the grace of God I am what I am. |
