| Introduction | I've been an avid reader my entire life. After finishing up a Terry Brooks book when I was 17, I decided to finally give writing a story of my own a shot. Here I am, a few years down the line. I've taken as many creative writing classes as I could, read dozens of books on the subject, and have written and rewritten long after I've felt it would be normal to quit trying. I've been a warehouse supervisor, poured concrete, done industrial roofing, fiber-glassed, and done over $100,000,000 in home mortgages. You might say I have an odd assortment of skills and knowledge. Each of the aforementioned list was a means to an end, just one step in the process of trying to fulfill my dreams. |
