| Introduction | I am a southern belle, raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I have an amazing husband who is a proud alumnist of the University of Alabama and has worked in the retail grocery industry for over 34 years. We have been married for 30 years and have 3 beautiful children. Our family has moved several times across the south and even the midwest due to my husband's work. I am an avid seamstress and decorator and have used these skills to decorate the several homes we have had over the years and to dress our 3 wonderful children. I worked many years professionally in the financial field but my greatest work has been as a homeschooling mom. At the time of this posting their ages are 25, 22 and 18. I am in the first few months of an empty nest and am going to try my hand at blogging and creating to fill the void. It would give me great pleasure to motivate others to sew and create as well. It sure has been great therapy for me. |
