| Introduction | Welcome to NYCAP Music's Local Connection, a place for the upstate NY music community to reach out and connect. NYCAP Music is an on-line resource for information about the live music scene in New York's Capital Region. It's hard to believe, but we celebratied our third anniversary recently. And what an exciting run this has been for us! NYCAP Music currently has over one hundred local bands and musicians on board. We'd like to thank the music community for the warm reception and encouragement. Working on the website has given us the opportunity to meet so many wonderful and talented people and we look forward to meeting many more in the coming years. We appreciate how hard everyone works, and the long hours that you all put in to doing what you love. The Capital Region has so much to offer music lovers - a vibrant local music scene with something for everyone, some great clubs and venues, wonderful festivals, and so many talented artists right here at home. And that's the reason for NYCAP Music, to recognize and support all the great people who are local music. |
