About me

Location	Durham, North Carolina
Introduction	My husband, Brad, and I live in Durham, NC. We have been here for 2 years as he is in seminary at Duke Divinity School. The first year here, I taught 3rd grade, but this year I am on full time Young Life staff, a high school outreach ministry. Before moving here, we spent 6 months living in Kampala, Uganda. We have been back to East Africa once since then, and are planning to be in Kenya for 2 months this summer. We have a passion for the people there and empowering them with education. We plan to oversee the building of a secondary school in the slums of Nairobi, with the hopes of the doors opening September 1st of this year!
