Introduction	I was born in Canada, raised in a European home. The best part of my childhood was everyone always cooking and feeding us… it’s the European way! I grew up with simple foods, moved on to college, gained the infamous "freshman 15", and never really appreciated food. When I moved to California 10 years ago, I began noticing the fresh ingredients in the meals I was eating, new foods I was trying, and at the local farmers markets. I started being more adventurous with food! I also learned to develop different flavors and create little masterpieces with the help of my roommate who was in culinary school. After I moved to NYC 5 years ago, I had the opportunity to try many different cuisines, Michelin rated restaurants, as well as many other top rated restaurants. I not only developed a great taste for food, but I also started recreating some of my favorite dishes. Despite if I am cooking at home, on vacation in Italy, on an island in the Caribbean, or a different US city, I am always finding ways to cook with local seafood, meats and veggies. Great food makes it easy to bring together great people with brilliant wine and memorable conversations.
