Introduction	I graduated from UW-Eau Claire in the early 1990s with a bachelor of arts in history with a political science minor. My studies focused on North Atlantic Region military and diplomatic history and policy studies.
Interests	Classical and classic literature, history of all kinds, strategic studies, movies and film making, camping/backpacking/canoing, writing fiction and non-fiction in all forms of creative and historical writing.

Favorite Music	Classical, particularly opera, classic punk and rock goth, all of the Beatles as solo artists (except for "Double Fantasy"), Syd Barret and all of The Pink Floyd (formal, fake and some solo).
Favorite Books	The Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E. Lawrence for non-fiction and The Trial by Franz Kafka for fiction.
