| Introduction | Designer by day, chef by hobby, dreamer, lover, cat lady, neurotic. I am an avid food lover. I have always enjoyed cooking and learning about food. The first meal I ever made, without the help of my mother, still stands out in my mind. Okay okay... it was called Lazy Day Lasagna from the Betty Crocker cookbook, but my best friend and I did it all by ourselves as little girls. I have definitely moved up in the cooking world since then. Learning a lot from the restaurants I worked in. The desire to attend culinary school has not dissipated, but I chose another career. The beauty of it is I still get to explore this hobby whenever I please. To me cooking is therapy, a creative expression. I never constrain myself to the rules of a recipe. I always explore and try new things. I Reference ten recipes to create one that is my own. That is what you see here in my blog. Now these are not the most specific recipes, but that is generally due to the fact that I am not measuring anything, and if you try any of my recipes I want you to make them your own!
