Introduction	After leaving my U.S. law firm job for human rights work abroad -and after several months in which multiple other countries refused to have me - I learned that I would be sent to Rwanda. Then I learned that they call Rwanda the "Land of A Thousand Hills." The name made my heart hum, realizing that Rwanda's description matched my journey to her. And I smiled as I realized too that mine is a Life of A Thousand Hills - often in just one day. Yes, I think this new exotic land and I, we might just be kindred spirits.
