About me

Introduction	...teaches writing, literature and film at San Jose City College. He has been sailing since he was in primary school. A former newspaper reporter, published poet, and high school athlete, he has for 25 years taught college writers how to polish their prose. He actively races an Olympic Finn sailboat and writes about junior college basketball. His personal library includes over 4,000 works in American literature, poetry, religious studies, applied linguistics, natural history, and science fiction.
